Privacy Policy

Prado Pixels is a solo practice, currently a small business operating well below the size or scope thresholds that trigger laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and the site does not target or operate in the European Union, so the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) does not currently apply either. This policy is a plain disclosure of actual practice, not a claim of compliance with either framework.

When you submit the project inquiry form, the quick message form, or email pixelsprado@gmail.com directly, you're providing information voluntarily: your name, organization, phone number, email address, project details, and anything else you choose to include.

This information is used only to respond to your inquiry, scope and deliver any project you engage Prado Pixels for, and keep a record of the conversation. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

This site uses privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 and PostHog) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site: which pages get viewed, and whether the contact form or the Book a Call link get used. This helps improve the site over time; it isn't used to identify you personally. This site does not use session-replay or keystroke-capture tools of any kind: PostHog's session recording feature is explicitly disabled in the site's own configuration, not merely left at a default. This site also doesn't use a live chat widget, and doesn't record or transcribe phone or video calls. If you'd rather opt out of Google Analytics specifically, Google provides a browser add-on that does this at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/.

Form submissions also capture the submitter's IP address. This is used strictly for spam and abuse prevention (identifying and filtering out bot traffic), not for tracking or profiling real visitors.

This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs, to help tell human visitors apart from automated bots on the contact form.

A short, plain list of every outside service this site sends any visitor data to, so it's easy to find in one place rather than scattered across this page: Google Analytics 4 and PostHog (aggregate usage analytics), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot filtering on the contact form), Supabase (stores form submissions), Resend (sends the email notification when a form is submitted), and, if you use the Schedule a Call tab, Calendly (handles the scheduling itself; see its own privacy policy for what it collects). None of these receive more than what's needed to do that one job, and none are permitted to use it for their own advertising.

If you become a paying client, payment itself happens separately, at billing.pradopixels.com, not on this website. That subdomain runs on SureCart, which currently offers two ways to actually process the charge: Prado Pixels' own Stripe account (credit cards and other payment methods), or PayPal if you choose that option at checkout. Prado Pixels does not directly collect or store your card number; if you pay via PayPal, that transaction is handled under PayPal's own privacy policy. billing.pradopixels.com is a deliberate, temporary bridge while Prado Pixels rebuilds billing directly onto this domain (moving to Stripe only at that point), and it carries its own Terms and Privacy Policy pages for that checkout; this page describes pradopixels.com only.

Prado Pixels does not sell your personal information, full stop. Nothing on this site is set up to make that possible, and nothing about how it operates would change that.

This site uses a small number of cookies for basic analytics and to remember that you've seen the cookie notice. It does not use cookies for cross-site ad tracking. A short, non-blocking notice appears on your first visit; the analytics tools above don't load the moment the page does, they wait until you actually interact with the page (scrolling, clicking, or similar), so the notice has had a chance to render first. Continuing to browse after that point is treated as acknowledgment, not as a heavy consent gate, since neither CCPA/CPRA nor GDPR currently applies to this site.

Form submissions are stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database, hosted in the United States (Oregon), and trigger an email notification sent through Resend. Both are reputable providers used by many small businesses; each maintains its own security practices and privacy policy, available on their respective websites. This site itself runs on Vercel's US-based infrastructure. Prado Pixels doesn't operate or knowingly store information outside the United States.

This site is served entirely over HTTPS, so any information you submit is encrypted in transit. Beyond that, the honest, plain-language version of this section is: Prado Pixels is a solo practice, not an enterprise with a dedicated security team, so the real protection here comes from keeping the list of places your information goes deliberately short (see "Third-party data collectors" above) and relying on the established providers named throughout this page, each of which maintains its own security practices and is responsible for the infrastructure it runs. This site does not maintain a separate internal security program beyond that.

Prado Pixels doesn't run any automatic deletion schedule today: form submissions and other information you provide are kept indefinitely, as an ordinary business record, unless you ask for something specific to be deleted (see "Your choices" below). That's a deliberate choice to keep things simple for a solo practice, not an oversight, and it may change to a defined retention period later if that ever becomes worth the added complexity.

You can ask what information Prado Pixels has about you, or ask for it to be deleted, any time by emailing pixelsprado@gmail.com. This isn't offered because a law requires it here, it's offered because it's the reasonable, respectful default.

This site is intended for business use by adults and organizations. It is not directed at children, and Prado Pixels does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

This page may be updated as the site or its tools change. The date at the top reflects the most recent update. This policy was drafted without formal attorney review at launch; Kara plans to have it reviewed by an attorney afterward, and it will be revised if that review calls for changes.
