Prado Pixels wants pradopixels.com to work for everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard, use a screen reader, zoom in, or prefer less motion. Accessibility is also part of every website I build for clients, so this site is held to the same standard.
The standard this site follows
This site is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the current version of the international standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Accessibility is built into the design and the code itself. This site doesn't use an accessibility overlay widget.
How it's built and tested
Every page is checked against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules with axe-core, an automated accessibility testing engine, on both desktop and mobile screen sizes, as part of the site's automated test suite. A change that introduces a detectable issue fails those tests before it can go live.
Every link, button, and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline, and a "Skip to Main Content" link is the first thing you reach on every page.
Pages use semantic headings and landmarks so assistive technology can move through them, images that carry meaning have text alternatives, text and controls meet WCAG color contrast requirements, and layouts adapt to small screens and zoomed text without content being cut off.
If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's scroll animations are turned off.
Known limitations
Two parts of the contact page come from outside services: the Schedule A Call tab is provided by Calendly, and the spam check on the contact form is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. Their accessibility is outside this site's control. If either one gives you trouble, email or call instead and I'll take it from there.
Automated testing catches many accessibility issues, but not all of them, so feedback from real visitors matters.
